Svetlana is an experienced solicitor in Insurance Litigation and Dispute Resolution and has practised in the areas of Public Liability/Insurance, Debt Recovery, Aviation and Commercial Disputes since 2009.

Svetlana has appeared in various state and federal jurisdictions and in December 2012, one of her matters was awarded judgment in her client's favour in the High Court of Australia.

Since late 2013, Svetlana has been actively involved in New South Wales Young Lawyers of the Law Society of New South Wales in relation to business development, promotion of events, mentoring on mental and career well-being and participating in discussions of matters affecting young lawyers. She has recently been elected to fulfil the position of Chair of the Business Law Committee.

Svetlana has recently completed her Masters of Law (Corporate and Commercial) at the University of Technology, Sydney where she was awarded the Rosalind Dubs Excellence Award in April 2014.
